About me
Bryan Bisordi is a professional drummer, bassist, educator, and AmSAT-certified Alexander Technique teacher. He is dedicated to bringing the Alexander Technique to more people and communities, and to expanding the scope of study surrounding AT.
Bryan holds a performance degree in Jazz Studies and studied for many years with legendary drum teacher Michael Carvin. Drawing on extensive work in drum technique and movement mechanics, he teaches professional and amateur drummers to refine coordination and control, expand artistry, and support injury prevention and rehabilitation through clinics and private instruction. He is developing Alexander Technique for Drummers, a comprehensive course in collaboration with drum educator JP Bouvet, slated for release mid-2026.
As a drummer, he brings over 20 years of international touring experience across four continents, and has recorded and worked with artists across many genres including Dolores O’Riordan (The Cranberries), Charlie Cunningham, Andy Rourke (The Smiths), MSMR, and The Secret Machines. His theater credits include the Broadway productions of Waitress, Kinky Boots, and Tootsie.
