About me
An AMSAT Certified Alexander Techniques Instructor, I am primarily a teacher of Violin and a professional Violinist here in New York City. I have taught violin at The Cleveland Institute and Manhattan School Prep departments as well as Rutgers University for a decade. My professional performance experiences range from Orchestra of Saint Luke’s to Broadway including a Music Festival of Scandinavian Classical Music and Chamber Music which I co created and still perform in every June. I created Hudson Heights String Academy in 2005 and is still open to this day. I appreciate the fine education I received at The Balance Arts Center where my passion for playing was fueled by a new passion for studying the body and to see it thru the Alexander lens.
