About me
Michaela Hauser-Wagner (Alexander Technique School of New England/ Missy Vineyard, 2007) holds a
degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University Tübingen, Germany and in 2017 completed
training as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, a nervous system oriented approach to trauma recovery.
Currently she is enrolled in Jessica Wolf’s Art of Breathing curriculum and studies with Nicola Hanefeld’s
guidance and other AT teachers, how Carl Roger’s person-centered psychology can benefit our
interactions with students and each other. Michaela is teaching the Alexander Technique in Connecticut
with an emphasis on voice, breathing and trauma. She enjoys being older; personal experience helps her
to support her students with compassion and to understand better the various aspects of life.
